Virgin Comics has added Neil Marks as marketing director, according to Virgin CMO Larry Lieberman.  Marks will be charged with driving sales across multiple distribution platforms, supervising Virgin's participation in conventions and other events, and with helping to build Virgin's licensing and retail programs. 

 

Marks joins Virgin from National Cine-Media, the largest digital in-theater movie network in North America.  Prior to that gig, Marks spent over eight years at Comedy Central, where as Director, Marketing & Advertising, he handled off-channel consumer and trade marketing for Comedy Central programs.
