Fox announced its fall schedule today, and the biggest news that hadn’t previously been revealed was the timeslot for the midseason launch of Human Target, based on the DC Comics character.  The first episode will be aired between the NFC divisional playoff game and the season premiere of 24, at 8 p.m. on January 17th.  It will then drop into its regular slot on Wednesdays at 9 p.m., behind the American Idol results show. 

Sarah Connor Chronicles didn’t make the cut; it’s ending after 26 episodes.

As previously reported, Dollhouse and Fringe are renewed.
