Bob Schaefer of Dragon's Lair Comics & Fantasy in San Antonio, Texas read Steve Bennett's recent column (see "Confessions of a Comic Book Guy--Strawberry Shortcake vs. Wolverine") and had this to say.
Steve Bennett wrote, "Given its usual popularity among grown men I imagine it's only a matter of time until we see a comic book version of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic." All I can say is please, somebody, do this comic! I don't know about the grown men part, but we've had women here between the ages of 4 and 40 who love that show. If a company wants a "kids" comic that will sell to a general audience I think this might be the one.
