Spoiler Alert: The new trailer for the Joss Whedon-produced Cabin in the Woods reveals quite a bit about the (literal) machinations of a plot that appears to involve quite a bit about the movie’s menacing forces, which appear to be quite a bit more than just the genre’s typical deranged ax-wielding hillbilly.  While the trailer doesn’t reveal all, it certainly does put the M.C. Escher-like poster for the film in an entirely new light (see “Evocative Poster for Cabin in the Woods”).

 

The oft-delayed Cabin in the Woods, which was directed by Cloverfield’s Drew Goddard, will debut in theaters on April 13th.
