Warner Bros. has released another clip from its animated adaptation of Frank Miller's classic 1980s Batman saga, The Dark Knight Returns. In this one-minute scene Batman has to deal both with a heavily armed denizen of Gotham City's underworld and a rookie cop, who doesn't quite know the whole score.
Batman: The Dark Knight Returns, Part 1 actually debuts today at a sold out screening in Los Angeles. The direct-to-video film, which is the culmination (at least so far) of DC's ambitious skeen of "PG-13" rated animated features, will also get a theatrical showing in New York City on September 24th (also sold out) before it is released everywhere on DVD, Blu-ray, and digital download next Tuesday (September 25th).
