NYCC News: Dynamite Entertainment announced today that Rick Remender, whose Uncanny Avengers was the first Marvel NOW! title, has signed on to write a creator-owned science fiction series Devolution that will debut from Dyanmite in 2013.  Paul Renaud, who worked with Remender on Fear Agent, will provide the art for Devolution.

 

Remender sees Devolution "as a return to the pulp/grindhouse science fiction that I built my career on starting with Fear Agent.  I came up with (the concept for) Devolution around the same time as Fear Agent and it’s been percolating for years."

 

Dynamite has lined up a number of artists including Alex Ross, Jae Lee, and Ryan Sook to create variant covers for the first issue of Devolution.
