The latest title in the revamped Valiant line will be the team book Unity, an ongoing series launching November 13th. Matt Kindt (Justice League of America) is onboard as the writer while interior and cover art will be handled by Doug Braithwaite (Journey into Mystery), who, along with Unity colorist Brian Reber (Harbinger Wars), has gone exclusive with Valiant.
Industry veteran Neal Adams (Green Lantern/Green Arrow) will provide an incentive cover for the first issue. Further, Valiant is offering five limited pull-box exclusive variants, one each by the likes of Bryan Hitch, J.G. Jones, Travel Foreman, Paolo Rivera, and Clayton Crain. For retailers that qualify, Unity #1, retailing for $3.99, will be 100% returnable.
To kill the warrior king X-O Manowar (see "Valiant Announces First Book"), Toyo Harada, fearing for the safety of the planet, assembles a team of avengers comprised of himself, Livewire, Eternal Warrior (see "Two New Series from Valiant"), and Ninjak (see "'Ninjak' Returns in September").
