A new clip from Alan Taylor’s Thor: The Dark World puts the spotlight on Christopher Eccleston, who plays the film’s major villain, the dark elf Malekith in about as sinister an entrance as you will ever see.  The primeval evil that Malekith marshals in Thor: The Dark World is so powerful and threatening that Thor has to ask his brother Loki to help (see "New Featurette Examines Thor/Loki Relationship").
 
Thor: The Dark World opens overseas on October 30th and nationwide here in the U.S. on November 8th.  As the movie’s debut nears the pace of publicity has picked up (see "New Malekith Poster, 'Thor' TV Spot").
