According to an article in The Puget Sound Business Journal, WizKids, LLC is anticipating a 30% increase in sales this year.  Last year (as we reported in the ICv2 Retailers Guide to Games #1, see 'ICv2 Estimates 02 Game Market by Category'), WizKids' sales doubled from around $20 to around $40 million.  A 30% increase this year would put sales comfortably over $50 million.

Given the discounts off retail price at which it sells, the WizKids machine will account for well over $100 million retail dollars this year.

At a $50 million run rate, the $29.5 million price Topps is paying to acquire WizKids (see 'Topps Reveals WizKids Price') is around 60% of sales.
