For an Animated TV Series

Warner Bros. has optioned Jason Kruse's The World of Quest for development as an animated television series. The World of Quest, which first appeared on Komikwerks.com in November of 2003, will be published as a trade paperback collection later in 2004 by Komikwerks, which is co-owned by the New York based ibooks. The deal with Warner Bros. was brokered through a strategic partnership between Komikwerks and Circle of Confusion, a management and production company, which represents a number of high profile creators including Brian Michael Bendis and the Wachowski Bros.
The World of Quest is a fantasy property chronicling the adventures of a former hero who becomes the bodyguard to a smart-aleck prince. Though it is liberally laced with humor, The World of Quest also contains a number of key fantasy elements including monsters, bounty hunters and a mystical dagger.
