Andy Battaglia of Comics Etc. in Rochester, New York, has been having problems with the post office shipping class for comics:
I have recently been having trouble with the post office concerning shipping class. For years I have used the bound printed matter classification for comics, but lately the post office has been opening my packages and then charging the recipient the parcel post rate. If you go to the post office Website and check out bound printed matter, they actually use comic books as the example.
