
Z-Man Games has announced plans to release three new board games featuring familiar game concepts in unexpected locations in November 2010. This month’s releases include a train game set in an ancient kingdom, a game of ancient kingdoms based on a classic train game, and a reflex-based game of factory management. Z-Man will also release First Train to Nuremberg, a new game by Martin Wallace, this month (see “First Train to Nuremberg”).

Based on the tradition of “18XX” train games, Poseidon is a game of economic growth and development. Players earn money and prestige by becoming Kings of various nations. Each nation has its own treasury and resources, which the Kings can use to maximize their own personal wealth. Designed by Helmut Ohley and Leonhard Orgler.
Factory Fun was originally published by Dutch publisher Cwali. Players construct factories from various machines, trying to build the most efficient and productive operations. This game requires quick hands and wits. The Z-Man version includes new player boards with all-new challenges. Designed by Corne van Moorsel.
