Uwe Rosenberg has joined forces with Lookout Games and Z-Man Games to create a new expansion for fan-favorite Agricola.  The new expansion will be called Gamer’s Deck, and features a full deck of new cards and options for the popular game.

Designed to be used on its own, the Gamer’s Deck can also be combined with the cards included in the base game.  The new expansion includes 120 “minor improvement” cards and occupations.  The cards will feature all new artwork by Klemens Franz, the same artist who worked on the original game.

The Gamer’s Deck was developed by the original game designer in cooperation with the Lookout Games playtest group to address gaps in game play that have developed over the three years since the game’s original release, and is geared towards more serious gamers.  Over 300 playtesters from around the world were involved in the development of the new expansion.

The Agricola Gamers’ Deck is expected to ship in December.  It will have a suggested retail price of $19.99.  The stock number is ZMG 7026-E2.
