Trent Walsh of BaT Comics & Games in Chico, California read Dan Yarrington's recent column on too many games and the value of game demos (see "Get In The Game--Too Many Games...Too Little Space") and had this to say.
I agree with most of what Dan Yarrington had to say. The most common statement game publishers/designers say to me is, "If you hold demos, you will sell more." That is true with any game, and I do not have time to demo 50 games a week. I do think a more methodical release channel would help the industry.
