The anime tied to Bushiroad’s popular trading card game Cardfight!! Vanguard is getting new U.S. distribution on the free, ad-supported Hulu as well as the Hulu Plus subscription service, the latest additions to a growing number of ways the content is being distributed. The new Hulu relationship, which started this week, is being done in conjunction with Aniplex of America. Episodes 1-20 are now available, with more episodes made available at a later date.
The third season of the anime is currently being broadcast across Japan and Southeast Asia, but the show has a dedicated international audience, thanks to a high quality English dub on the official YouTube channel (the same version that is now also available on Hulu).
It is also being streamed on Crunchyroll in the original Japanese with English subtitles.
The Cardfight!! Vanguard animated series, produced by TMS Entertainment, follows protagonist Aichi Sendou’s adventures in both the real world and the fantasy realm of Planet Cray where he meets and plays against new friends and rivals.
Cardfight!! Vanguard TCG currently ranks at #5 on ICv2’s Top Hobby Channel Collectible Games for Spring (see "Top Collectible Games--Spring 2013") thanks to an aggressive release schedule (see "Fall 'Cardfight!! Vanguard' Releases" and "New 'Cardfight!! Vanguard Extra Trial Deck'") and well-supported organized play (see "'Cardfight!! Vanguard' 2013 World Championship").
