Ultra PRO has signed a license agreement with Paizo Publishing to produce a new series of play mats based on Paizo’s Pathfinder Adventure Card Game which released at Gen Con (see "'Pathfinder' Deck-building Game").
The first mats will feature each of the seven individual characters in the base game packaged together as a set for $24.99. A second set will feature the four characters in the subsequent PACG expansions, also packaged as a set for $15.99. Both sets will ship in November. A limited number of these play mats were previewed and sold during Gen Con.
Ultra PRO and Paizo Publishing are also designing a large play mat for placement of public card decks, which they hope to release in early 2014.
Ultra PRO also recently announced a license to create play mats and accessories for the popular Sword Art Online anime property (see "'Sword Art Online' TCG Accessories").
