WizKids has announced the North American sellout of the Fire for Effect, the first expansion to its MechWarrior: Dark Age collectibles miniatures game.  WizKids will make no more Fire for Effect figures and the last cases of the product have shipped from the company's warehouses -- although distributors may still have stock available. 

 

The Fire for Effect expansion introduced artillery units to the MechWarrior game and also expanded the Knights of the Sphere.  The next MechWarrior exapansion, Counterassault, reaches retail in January and reinstates the 'Mechs' as the lords of the battlefield with upgraded triple-strength myomer technology, longer ranges, and new designs.
