Rich Gain of Jester's Playhouse  in Northfield, NJ, saw an e-mail from on-line retailer and purchaser of Eagle Games inventory, Funagain Games  (see 'Funagain Games Acquires Eagle Games Inventory'), and thinks asking other retailers to sell their games only at MSRP is unfair.

I just received an email from Funagain Games, the winners of the Eagle Games Auction.  In the e-mail, Keith Blume, formerly of Eagle Games, solicited for game retailers to buy their product.  Part of the e-mail requests that retailers only sell the games at MSRP.  I think this is unbelievable.  Funagain Games discounts every game on their site (except Eagle Games).

I would hope that every manufacturer whose product is being devalued by Funagain puts this restriction on them.  I would also strongly encourage retailers to not support an on-line discounter like Funagain.  I am sick of online discounters taking advantage of all the hard work brick and mortar stores do to generate interest in games, only to have the sales go out the door.

Let Funagain Games know that they cannot have the best of both worlds.
