Archie Comics announced that there will be a new twist on an old love triangle beginning with Archie #608.  While his band The Archies are on tour with Josie and the Pussycats, Archie and Valerie, the Pussycat’s bassist/songwriter, share a kiss outside Archie’s house on a starry night.  This shakes up the usual pattern of Archie trying to choose between Betty and Veronica and “could change Riverdale forever.”  Of course working in the new girlfriend, what with the weddings and all (see “Archie Gets Married” and “Archie Nuptials all the Rage”), is probably going to be a little complicated.  Archie #608, part one of “It Starts with a Kiss,” will be released in April.
