The key art and a first promo spot for the new Fuji TV Dragon Ball Super anime series have arrived and they include the familiar cast members along with some new additions.   The new Dragon Ball Super anime series will be the first new Dragon Ball anime in 18 years and will be accompanied by a manga series written by Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama and drawn by Toyataro and appear in Shueisha’s V Jump anthology magazine (see “New Dragon Ball Manga to Accompany TV Series”).

In the short 14-second clip Son Goku and company basically announce their return in a montage of characters and action that should whet the appetite of DBZ fans everywhere.  Toriyama is credited with “original story and character concepts” for the Dragon Ball Super anime, which debuts in Japan next month.

The Anime News Network reports that the characters Whis and Beerus from the recent DBZ: Battle of the Gods and DBZ: Resurrection F films appear in the key art along with all your favorites like Son Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, Trunks, Krillin, Piccolo, Majin Buu, etc.
