Conflict of Heroes: Gaudalcanal and Conflict of Heroes: Storms of Steel 2nd Edition both make use of the Conflict of Heroes game system, which include realistic, historically accurate rules for battle that are easy to learn. Storms of Steel is set during the German/Soviet conflict in Kursk, and Gaudalcanal details the fight between the U.S. 1st Marine Division and Japanese forces, and includes special rules to simulate the tactics and strategy of the Japanese forces. Both games are for 2-4 players. Both games have an MSRP of $80. Conflict of Heroes: Guadalcanal and Conflict of Heroes: Storms of Steel 2nd Edition are due out in March 2016 and May2016, respectively. These are stand-alone games and do not require any other Conflict of Heroes products to play.

Mare Nostrum – Empires is a civilization- and empire-building game where 3-5 players attempt to gain control of the ancient world near the Mediterranean Sea. Players can take the role of Caesar of Rome, Pericles of Greece, Queen Cleopatra of Egypt, Hannibal of the Carthaginians, or King Hammurabi of Babylon. Academy Games had an incredibly successful Kickstarter for this game, raising $679,255 from 6,937 backers (an average of about $97.92/backer). Mare Nostrum – Empire has an MSRP of $75.00. The game is due out in March 2016, after being pushed back from a November 2015 release (see "New Empire Builder from Academy Games").
