Griggling Games has announced that it will be bringing the second title in the Quartermaster General series of historical board games, Victory or Death, to the U.S.  Release is scheduled for July.

Designed by Ian Brody (Quartermaster General, Destination:  Neptune) and produced by British publisher PSC Games, Victory or Death takes the game system from Quartermaster General and translates into Ancient Greece.  The setting is the Peloponnesian War, fought between Athens and Sparta.  Like the earlier title, Victory or Death uses an abstracted, card-driven system to recreate the war without focusing on the minutia of controlling specific units.

Victory or Death will include 162 cards, 44 plastic unit models, 8 bribery tokens, and a game board.  MSRP is $59.95.

PSC Games is funding the project through a Kickstarter campaign, which reached its funding goal within the first day.  The campaign includes a Retailer-only funding option.
