Cryptozoic Entertainment and Playroom Entertainment have partnered to produce a new version of Playroom’s party game Geek Out! based on the hit Warner Bros. television program The Big Bang Theory, under license from Warner Bros. Consumer Products and Warner Bros. Television.
Like other games in the line, Geek Out!: The Big Bang Theory Edition challenges players to answer trivia questions drawn from a wide range of pop culture areas, including comics, games, sci-fi, and, of course, The Big Bang Theory television program. The game will release in Q2 2017 with an MSRP of $19.99.
This will be the fourth Geek Out! title, following the recent release of Geek Out! Family (see "New 'Geek Out!' Editions, 'You Got Pwned!' and 'Woot'").
Ultra PRO, which has announced several acquisitions over the past year, announced in September that it would be acquiring Playroom (see "Ultra Pro Acquiring Playroom Entertainment"), although that transaction has not yet closed.
Under License from Warner Bros.
