Marvel is primed to kick off its ResurrXion initiative this spring with two new one-shots: X-Men Prime #1 and Inhumans Prime #1.
X-Men Prime #1 comes courtesy of Marc Guggenheim, who is also scripting X-Men Gold for RessurXion (see "'X-Men Gold' and 'X-Men Blue' Revealed"), and artist Ken Lashley. It lays the groundwork for Kitty Pryde’s new leadership role in the X-Men.
Royals scribe Al Ewing (see "Everything's Coming Up Inhumans") lays the groundwork for his new series in Inhumans Prime #1, drawn by Ryan Sook. The one-shot finds Maximus on trial, Black Bolt and the Royal Family headed for space, and some Inhumans, including Ms. Marvel and Moon Girl, staying on Earth to take charge of their own destinies.
Both one-shots are set for release on an unspecified date in March.
In addition to the aforementioned titles, the ResurrXion initiative includes a new Weapon X ongoing (see "Greg Pak Reveals 'Weapon X' Details") and new series for Jean Grey (see "Marvel Reveals Team, Theme for 'Jean Grey'"), Generation X (see "Marvel Resurrects 'Generation X' in New Ongoing"), and Iceman (see "Marvel Reveals Details for New 'Iceman'").
