HBO’s Westworld was the third most pirated show TV show in 2016, according to the list of the top ten most downloaded TV shows (single episode) on BitTorrent, released by TorrentFreak (which also has more analysis). It joins Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The Flash, and Arrow in the top five, all repeating from last year (although the positions of The Flash and Arrow flipped, see “Geek Shows Eight of Top Ten Most Pirated”).
Lucifer, based on the Vertigo comic series and renewed for a second season (see “Geek TV News Roundup”), was the other new geek show that appeared on the list for the first time in 2016.
