Mad Event Management, LLC, organizers of Long Beach Comic Con and Expo, will host the Comic Creators Conference (C3), a one day event for comics professionals and creatives to take place the day before this year’s Long Beach Comic Expo.
C3 will take place on Friday, February 17, prior to the opening of the 2017 Long Beach Comic Expo. The event is designed to help comics professionals and industry creatives connect with opportunities in publishing, film and TV though a series of panels and workshops hosted by publishing and entertainment industry leaders. A keynote address will be delivered by industry veteran Bob Schreck. Schreck is a co-founder of Oni Press; spent many years at Dark Horse Comics, DC Comics, and IDW; and is currently the editor-in-chief of Legendary Comics. Attendees will be able to network with entertainment and agency executives and publishers throughout the day, or at a casual cocktail event taking place after the closing remarks.
Long Beach Comic Expo takes place from Saturday, February 18 – Sunday, February 19 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
