Tim Seeley is returning to horror with a new miniseries from Vertigo.
The Hack / Slash creator and artist Stephen Molnar (Star Trek) are behind Imaginary Fiends, a six-issue miniseries that will launch on November 15.
Melba is about to begin a sentence in federal prison for the attempted murder of her best friend when the FBI recruits her. Melba is haunted by a spectral alien named Polly Peachpit, who goaded her into the murder attempt, and Melba must unleash her personal monster to stop the horrifying parasites.
Seeley’s landmark Hack / Slash is also making a return this fall. Seeley is providing covers for the new series, which is written by Tini Howard and drawn by Celor and K. Michael Russel (see "Tim Seeley's 'Hack/Slash' Returns").
