Top Shelf Productions has unveiled details and covers for books in their 2018 catalog.

Nate Powell, the artist of the National Book Award-winning March trilogy, has a new solo graphic novel. Come Again is a tale about an “intentional community” in the Arkansas mountains that strains under the burden of secrets and a monstrous unknown threat. The 280-page full-color hardcover ships in July. MSRP is $24.99.

In August, a long-out-of-print Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles tale from the grim and gritty days of the ‘90s will return to shelves. Kevin Eastman and Simon Bisley’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Bodycount is a 112-page, full-color hardcover that has an MSRP of $29.99.

Check into the Cloud Hotel in May with a haunting mystery tale about divinity by Julian Hanshaw. The 160-page, full-color softcover graphic novel has an MSRP of $19.99. For mature readers.

Erin Nations’ Gumballs, one of the few periodical comics that Top Shelf has released, will be collected into a 160-page, full-color softcover. The collection of strips about Erin’s gender transition and anecdotal tales of growing up as a triplet will be out in June and has an MSRP of $19.99.

The first ever collection of Peter Hoey and Maria Hoey’s comics will hit shelves in June. Coin-Op Comics is a 196-page, full-color hardcover that collects more than 20 short stories and vignettes from the last 20 years. MSRP is $29.99. For mature readers.

The second volume of Brennan Lee Mulligan and Molly Ostertag’s acclaimed Strong Female Protagonist will be in stores in June. The 336-page, full-color softcover finds former teen superhero Alison Green headed off to college. MSRP is $24.99.

Also getting a second volume is Steve Nedvidek, Ed Crowell, Jack Lowe and Moses Nester’s dieselpunk The Jekyll Island Chronicles. Entitled A Devil’s Reach, the 168-page, full-color softcover will be out in June and has an MSRP of $19.99.

Johnny Boo turns book eight in June, with Johnny Boo and the Ice Cream Computer. The 40-page, full color hardcover is James Kochalka’s latest entry in the popular kids series. MSRP is $9.99. Top Shelf will also be releasing Kochalka’s Mechaboys in March (see “'Mechaboys'”)

Top Shelf’s summer list also includes the final installment of Alan Moore and Kevin O’Neill’s The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, which is a six-issue miniseries called Tempest (see “Alan Moore & Kevin O'Neill Are Going Out With a 'Tempest'”).
