Trash Pandas is a card game about raccoons and the rubbish they love. “If you ever go onto the Internet, just type in ‘Trash Pandas,’ there's a huge Reddit board of people obsessed with Trash Pandas,” Schneider said. “The idea of it is that you're collecting trash with fun names, things like ‘mmm pie’ and ‘nanners’ and ‘blammo’ and ‘feesh.’ Players roll a die, collecting tokens of the image action, and then use the actions to get cards into their personal stash. When the draw pile is exhausted, players compare who has the most mmm pie, the most feesh, ect, scoring points for placing first second or third in each category. MSRP is $12.00. Release is planned for June. “Squirmish is the card game of brawling beasties,” said Schneider. “This is a fun/light/silly take on card battling games.” Players take the role of characters with names like Dendowiggo, Squarlock, Flip-and-Flop, and Zeebeelzebub, and then attempt to attack their neighbor by rolling a die. “If you remember to say the character's battle cry at the bottom of the card, when you roll the die you get a plus‑one damage or healing.”“It's a silly game. It's got some great, humorous artwork,” Schneider said. “It's very Garbage Pail Kids‑esque in terms of the style of it.” The game comes with 70 different characters, four dice, and 40 googly-eye hit counters. MSRP is $16.00. Release is planned for spring.
Sneaky Cards 2 is a new set of activity cards based on the popular Sneaky Cards card deck released in 2015 and won an ASTRA award in 2016 (see “Game Winners in ASTRA Awards”). Sneaky Cards comes with the motto “Play it Forward,” since each card has an objective that involves interacting with other people or the environment. “(Y)ou get a deck of 54 cards with different objectives on it, things like ‘Give this card to someone dressed in costume,’ or ‘Hide this card in your favorite neighborhood store,’ or one of my favorite ones, ‘High‑five five strangers,” Schneider explained. “Each one has an objective on it. Once you do the objective, you're going to give the card away to somebody else. It's all about spreading joy anonymously, making the world a happier place.”The game also includes unique serial numbers on the bottom of the cards which players can track as they travel around the world. According to Schneider, there are over 1.8 million cards tracked so far. Sneaky Cards 2 includes 54 new activities. Release is planned for June. MSRP is $10.00.
