Bezier Games will release Rocky Mountains, an expansion for the train route building game Whistle Stop, in August.

Designed by Scott Caputo (Voluspa, Kachina), Whistle Stop is a “pick-up and deliver” style of game set in the time period just after the completion of the first transcontinental railroad (see “Railroading in the Golden Spike Era”).  Now railroad companies have a chance to take on the Rocky Mountains, building lucrative routes -if they can handle the challenges.  The expansion includes a large mountain range expansion board, and adds new ways for players to score fame points which will help them win the game.

The box includes the mountain range expansion board, 5 new End tiles, 4 new Special tiles, 2 additional train route tiles, 2 new variable common resources tiles, 2 new town tiles, 4 new six-point gold nugget tokens, 4 new whistle stop tiles, 2 new gold nugget tiles, 9 new upgrades, and 6 new shares.  As an expansion, it requires the base game to play.  MSRP is $29.95.

Bezier Games will be releasing Werebeasts soon (see “Set Collection, Social Deduction Collide in 'Werebeasts'”).
