Space Goat Productions has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Midpoint Trade Books. Midpoint will distribute Space Goat’s back catalogue, which includes comics based on Evil Dead and other franchises (see "Space Goat Productions Launches Print Comics") and digital-to-print comics in the company’s Backpack Editions line (see "Space Goat Launches New Digital-to-Print Line"), to wholesale and specialty customers worldwide. Space Goat also will continue to make its products available via its website and Diamond Comic Distributors.
Space Goat has also made some key staffing changes in the executive team. Michael Murphey, CEO and founder of PlayGrim Games and digital comics platform iVerse Media, has joined the company as Lead Game Designer and Production Manager. Murphey will oversee the final production stages for the Evil Dead 2 (see "'Evil Dead 2' Comes To Tabletop") and The Terminator (see "'The Terminator: The Official Board Game'") board games, along with the development and launch of The Howling board game (see "Space Goat Acquires Rights To 'The Howling'").
Space Goat added creator Keith Champagne (Green Lantern, The Mighty) to the executive team as Editor-in Chief. Steve May has been promoted from Director of Business Development to VP of Sales and Marketing. Jacob Bascle has been promoted to Production Manager.
