In its monthly solicits for August, Marvel Comics included a new one-shot for its Hunt for Wolverine mini-event, and tucked in the text was the soft announcement of a new Wolverine series, launching in September.
The Hunt for Wolverine: Dead Ends #1 will arrive on August 29, a 40-page denouement for the multiple miniseries tracking the movements of the missing (and presumed dead) mutant (see “'The Hunt for Wolverine',” “'The Hunt for Wolverine' Spin-offs Revealed,” and “Preview: 'Hunt for Wolverine' Second Issue Covers”). Written by Charles Soule and drawn by Ramon Rosanas, the story will have Kitty Pryde, Daredevil, Tony Stark and Sabretooth gathering to assemble the pieces of Logan’s whereabouts. The description concludes with the line, “And how does it lead into next month’s Wolverine #1?”
