Dynamite Entertainment will release Art of Halfbrick: Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride, and Beyond, a new coffee table art book highlighting the popular studio’s bestselling mobile game apps, on August 15.
The book will be written by Sarah Rodriguez, and it will cover Fruit Ninja, Jetpack Joyride, Monster Dash, Dan the Man, Siege Breakers, and Age of Zombies. The 256-page book will highlight the popular Fruit Ninja game, but also tell the story of the Austrialian company, Halfbrick, that created it, as well as showcasing some of the company’s other titles. MSRP is $39.99.
Art of Halfbrick is Dynamite’s latest release in a line of video game art books that include Art of Path of Exiles and Art of Atari (see “Review: 'Art of Atari' HC”). Dynamite has already released a comic miniseries based on the all-ages game, which will be collected in hardcover form in June (see “The Fruit Ninjas Master the Art of Juice Jitsu in Upcoming Hardcover”). The hot franchise has inspired three tabletop games from Lucky Duck Games, which are also scheduled to hit shelves this summer (see “'Fruit Ninja Tabletop Game Series'”).
