Dark Horse Comics is releasing a graphic novel adaptation of Disney Treasure Island. The reinterpretation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic tale is from acclaimed bande dessinees creators Teresa Radice and Stefano Turconi (Globetrotting Viola, Tosca, The Forbidden Harbour). The 104-page graphic novel will be in stores October 31 for an MSRP of $10.99.

Mickey Mouse takes on the role of Jim Mousekins, who has long dreamed of adventure. When he finds a treasure map in the chest of the mysterious Captain, Mickey sets off on a race agains scheming pirates to find the location of the rich stuff, with Goofy and Pegleg Pete in tow.
