Valiant has promoted Julia Walchuk to the position of Sales and Live Events Manager. in the new role, Walchuk will be responsible for Valiant’s convention appearances. She will plan con exclusives, work with consignment partners, and design and manage Valiant’s physical presence.

Walchuk joined Valiant in summer 2017 as a freelance Sales Manager. Prior to Valiant, she worked in comics and gaming retail, including at Dreamers Vault in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and she was a volunteer at the 2000 AD’s New York Comic Con and San Diego Comic-Con booths.

Valiant also recently promoted Karl Bollers to the role of Senior Editor (see “Valiant Entertainment Promotes Karl Bollers”) and hired Emily Hecht to the position of Sales and Social Media Manager (see “Valiant Hires Sales & Social Media Manager”). The company is also expanding retailer outreach with a new store visit initiative (see “Valiant Expands Retailer Outreach Program”).
