Disney Adapts Its Animated Classics

Disney has released trailers for two upcoming live action adaptations of its animated classics: The Lion King (directed by Jon Favreau) and Dumbo (directed by Tim Burton). This is the first look at The Lion King, although a teaser for Dumbo was released last summer (see “Teaser Trailer for Time Burton’s Live-Action ‘Dumbo’”). The Lion King will debut July 19, and Dumbo is due out March 29.
