Continuing its strong support of comic retailers during the coronavirus crisis, the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund has created a resource document for retailers that want to continue to reach customers without being able to do so in-store, and plans a webinar panel discussion on the topic this Friday.
The resource document, available here, includes eight ideas for retailers looking for ways to reach customers without an operating storefront.
The webinar, planned for Friday, March 27 at 2 p.m. PDT, will bring together a panel made up of Carol + John’s Comics’ John Dudas, Prana: Direct Market Solutions’ Atom Freeman, Space Cadets Collection Collection’s Jen King, and BOOM! Retail Sales Coordinator Morgan Perry, all moderated by CBLDF Community Development Manager Siena Fallon. Information available here.
The CBLDF previously created a document offering general advice for retailers under lockdowns (see “CBLDF Offers Guidelines, Suggestions, and Links”); along with a comprehensive state-by-state clearinghouse resource for financial aid, training tools, and other information to support industry businesses, and a directory of CBLDF member stores with links and details about what they’re doing to remain connected with customers during the coronavirus crisis (see “CBLDF Retailer Resources”).
