IDW has named former Disney Publishing Executive Editor Nachie Marsham as Publisher, and promoted Veronica Brooks to Vice President of Creative Affairs, the company announced. Marsham replaces Jud Meyers, who had a tenure of less than a week in the role before departing the company last month (see "IDW Ends Jud Meyers’ Short Tenure as Publisher").
Marsham spent a dozen years at Disney Publishing in editorial roles, ending as Executive Editor, a position he held since 2013. Among his duties were running the Marvel Press imprint, which produces prose and picture books based on Marvel properties, in addition creating content for both the vertical publishing division and the licensed business. Prior to his time at Disney, Marsham spent over seven years at DC in Assistant and Associate Editor roles. Prior to DC, Marsham also had a stint at Wizard Entertainment in a variety of roles.
IDW also announced that Veronica Brooks has been promoted from Senior Director to Vice President of Creative Affairs. In that role she will work across IDW Entertainment and IDW Publishing, alongside Marsham, to translate existing and new IDW intellectual properties into film, TV, podcasts, and digital media.
