The Transformers: Beast Wars TV show will mark its 25th anniversary in 2021, and IDW is launching a brand-new comic book series to celebrate the occasion.  The series will feature a future Cybertron that has been populated by the Maximals and the Predacons, where the successor in the Megatron line battles Optimus Primal and his team.  The first issue comes with 30 pages of story as well as bonus content.

This comic will be written by Erik Burnham with art by Josh Burcham. It will come with two covers: Cover A by Josh Burcham and Cover B by Fico Ossio.  There will also be two Retailer Incentive editions with art by Dan Schoening and Nick Brokenshire.

IDW Publishing also announced Transformers: Escape, a five-issue miniseries starting in December (see "New 'Transformers' Comic Miniseries Coming In December").
