Dark Horse Comics will launch its line of comiXology Originals graphic novels with a purchase incentive on its first release, the print edition of AFTERLIFT, the Eisner Award-winning comic written by Chip Zdarsky, with art by Jason Loo. Retailers who purchase at least five copies (max 20) will receive bookplates designed by Jeff Lemire, signed by Zdarsky and Loo. The volume will include not only the comic, but also a Jason Loo sketchbook with commentary by Chip Zdarsky, and a process piece called "Anatomy of a Page."
Dark Horse plans monthly releases in the line beginning in February (see "Dark Horse Brings comiXology Originals to Trade").
