Dynamite Entertainment will release Altered Carbon: One Life, One Death, a new graphic novel by Richard K. Morgan, in February.
Altered Carbon creator Richard K. Morgan is set to add a new chapter to the tale of Takeshi Kovacs in an upcoming GN by Dynamite. In this installment, Kovacs is imprisoned in jail as well as in a weak body, and he is missing a chunk of his memory. The new book goes into the character's past, and offers up a serious dose of action as Kovacs travels between worlds as a freelance enforcer. Morgan teamed up with writer Scott Bryan Wilson (Nancy Drew & the Hardy Boys) and artist Max Fuchs (Halcyon Days) for this project.
"We really pushed the body-shock boat out for this one," said Morgan. "Scott's brutal, innovative story assists and Max's delirious in-your-face visuals combine to dial up the noir and put Kovacs face down in the dirt, right at the heart of a corrupt interstellar regime as never before."
Altered Carbon: One Life, One Death will arrive as a 120-page full color GN that retails for $24.99. It is a hardcover book, and is available in an edition signed by Richard K. Morgan.
Dynamite released the first Altered Carbon GN back in 2018 (see "'Altered Carbon' GN").
