CrystalCommerce, which provides retailers a web-based POS system and tools for online sales and inventory management, has announced Infinite Allies, an affiliate network for retailers using the service. The network allows retailers to offer inventory being sold by other retailers in the network, and to have their own inventory appear in other online storefronts. The retailer making the final sale pays referrers 5% of the entire order made by the customer.
Infinite Allies is also usable by game publishers as a store locator, and since CrystalCommerce runs on live inventory, referrals can be made to stores known to have a particular item in stock. Publishers may also make those referrals on 0% commission, sending all the profit to the local game store.
Creators and influencers can also earn commissions and support local game stores by referring sales to the network.
CrystalCommerce CEO Dan McCarty stressed the community aspects of the new service. "Together we are strong; together we are always in stock; together we don't lose the sale to Amazon; together we are connecting local Fans to LGS at the lowest cost per referred order (5%) and giving 100% of that to the Affiliate Fan referrer," he said of infinite Allies. "Now no store is alone to survive or die! Together we have the whole community rallying to help find buyers for preorders all the way back to out-of-print rare inventory."
