First Empires is a lightweight game of conquest and building civilizations. Players take on the roles of leaders of ancient empires and move across the map to gain control of territories. The movements and conquests are resolved without the use of dice, which makes the gameplay faster. Each region players conquer has certain benefits, and the civilizations are unique and build out differently.
The game box comes with a game board, 25 Wooden Cubes in five colors, 30 City Tokens in five colors, a Turn Track Marker, 5 special dice, a rulebook, 5 Civilization boards, 45 Cards in five colors, 50 Wooden Meeples in five colors, a Turn Track board, and 5 storage boxes. This game is for two to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30-60 minutes. It will retail for $44.99.
