DC will wind up one storyline for Superman and launch another one in Action Comics #1050, and they are marking the event with 26 different covers for the issue.

With the Dark Crisis event ending, Clark Kent returns to his family but almost immediately Lex Luthor goes on the attack, stealing something very important from Clark’s life (and kicking off the new storyline). The oversize issue is written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson, Tom Taylor, and Joshua Williamson, with art by Mike Perkins, Clayton Henry, and Nick Dragotta. The main cover is by Steve Beach, with variants by Jim Lee, Alex Ross, Megan Huang, Crystal Kung, Lee Weeks, John Giang, Rahzzah, Gabriele Dell’Otto, Mike Perkins, Riley Rossmo, Dan Parent, Steve Lieber, Simone Di Meo, Pamela Hoogeboom, Nathan Szerdy, and Rafael Sarmento, a 1:25 variant by Jonboy Meyers, a 1:50 variant by Al Barrionuevo, a 1:75 wraparound variant by Alexander Lozano, a 1:100 variant by Steve Rude a 1:250 variant by Michael Allred, a 1:500 variant by Ariel Colon, a 1:1050 variant by Jim Lee, a foil variant by Alex Ross, a team trading card cover, and a DC Holiday Card variant by Jim Lee, Scott Williams, and Alex Sinclair. The 48-page issue will go on sale on December 27, 2022, with an MSRP of $5.99 for the regular cover and $6.99 for the card stock variants.
