Asmodee Canada has added non-exclusive English-language distribution rights for games from Exploding Kittens, Inc., the companies announced, expanding their relationship in the wake of Asmodee Group’s investment in Exploding Kittens, Inc. last year (see "Asmodee Invests in Exploding Kittens").  Asmodee Canada has had Canadian distribution rights to the French edition of the Exploding Kittens family for nearly five years; in addition to adding English rights, the new agreement provides for distribution of other titles from Exploding Kittens, Inc., including Throw Throw Burrito, Happy Salmon, and others.

Asmodee Group made a strategic investment of undisclosed size in Exploding Kittens, Inc. in December 2021, joining Chernin Group and the founders as owners of the company.
