There were quite a few spicy holiday game selections announced this year. The trend of game publishers gravitating towards releasing seasonal games is a continuing theme from 2022 (see "ICv2 Gifts Week 2022").
This year, there were quite a few more game holiday-themed game products entering the market ahead of the season. One of the more popular items that publishers produced this year was advent calendars. These seemed to the new favorite holiday SKU of TCG and dice publishers, and are a good idea for retailers to add to their inventory early in the cycle to catch some holiday sales. Moms and dads have been trending away from handing their kids advent calendars with sweets or chocolates in them, and the game-themed calendars are an excellent alternative to that.
ICv2 has selected several holiday-themed game items, as suggestions for retail inventory, in the gallery below. These products are listed in no particular order.
