The 2023 World Championship took place at Fira Montjuic, Pabellon Centenario, Av. de la Reina Maria Cristina in Barcelona, Spain (see "'Flesh and Blood TCG' World Championship"). There, Alexandros Argyriou from Greece, playing Fai, Rising Rebellion, beat out Hong Kong’s Shing Tsang playing Iyslander, Stormbird in the final match to take home the championship, a Gold Foil Legendary Black Envelope, a PTI, a Champion's Prize Card, and $100,000. The event was attended by 1500 people and 463 played in the main event.

In a keynote speech, Legend Story Studios CEO and Founder James White also announced the pro play circuit would now have a $1.5 million prize pool. This raises the stakes from the previous $1 million prize pool offered last year  (see "2023 Schedule").
