Wizards of the Coast updated details about the upcoming Magic: The Gathering - Ravnica Remastered set, which releases on January 12, 2024.

The set will contain 292 cards (111 commons, 90 uncommons, 71 rares, and 20 mythic rares) composed of desirable reprints such as shock lands, Arclight Phoenix, Cyclonic Rift, Chord of Calling, and more. As noted before (see "'Magic: The Gathering - Ravnica Remastered'"), the card treatments will include retro frame, borderless, and anime-inspired cards. WotC recently added serialized cards to the list of treatment types to look out for in the new set, particularly the serialized shock lands which are sure to be a hit with collectors. The serialized cards can only be found in Collector Boosters and will always be printed in English language.

The breakdown of the Collector Boosters for this set was also released. These packs are the only products for this set that have borderless shock lands and serialized retro frame cards.The booster contents breakdowns as follows:

  • 1 Traditional foil retro frame rare or mythic rare, traditional foil borderless rare or mythic rare, or a serialized card.
  • 1 Non-foil borderless rare or mythic rare
  • 1 Non-foil retro frame rare or mythic rare
  • 1 Traditional foil rare or mythic rare
  • 1 Traditional foil retro frame common or uncommon
  • 2 Non-foil retro frame commons and/or uncommons
  • 1 Traditional foil land or artifact
  • 3 Traditional foil uncommons
  • 4 Traditional foil commons
  • 1 Traditional foil double-faced token

WotC also announced that Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind will be promo for WPN Launch Parties and Preview events. The Launch Party events can be run from January 12-14, 2024.
