Following up on the anthology Nacelleverse #0, which was released on April 17 (see "Preview: 'Nacelleverse' #0 Covers"), Oni Press has announced its first Nacelleverse series, Biker Mice from Mars, a three-issue miniseries by writer Melissa Flores and artist Francis Portela.  The series features three motorcycle-riding mice, Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie, who are battling to save their home planet, Mars, from the Plutarkians, plundering invaders who want to mine Mars for its natural resources.  The first issue will be released on July 7, 2024, with covers by Dustin Weaver, Juan Gedeon, and Roger Cruz, a 1:10 full art variant by Weaver, a 1:20 variant by Ramon Villalobos, and a 1:50 variant by Portela.

“We hope you’re ready for alien mice, crime bosses that smell like cheese, and copious amounts of hot dogs!” said Nacelle Founder and CEO, Brian Volk-Weiss in a statement accompanying the announcement.  “Let’s rock and ride!”

Oni announced its partnership with Nacelle, which has acquired a number of toy and animation properties, in October 2023 (see “Oni to Publish Comics Line Tying into Animation, Toy Properties”).
