The Cosmere RPG from Brotherwise Games, based on the novels of Brandon Sanderson, is the most funded tabletop game of all time on Kickstarter, finishing at $15,149,874 from 55,106 backers, which is $274.92 per backer. The project blew through $11 million by late August (see "Cosmere RPG’ Passes $11 Million"), and easily passed Frosthaven, the #2 tabletop game on Kickstarter at $12,969,608 (see "’Frosthaven’ Kickstarter Raises Nearly $13M") before wrapping up the campaign.
The Retailer Pledge level of $400, which included four sets of the game products and two Event Kits, with free shipping to most locations, was backed by 257 retailers.
Cosmere RPG raised over 50% more than the #2 RPG on Kickstarter, Avatar Legends: The Roleplaying Game, which raised $9,535,317 (see "’Avatar Legends’ Rakes in Over $9.5M").
